FRANCE. Air France-KLM said today that June passenger traffic was up +7.1% with capacity rising +5.8% and the load factor increasing marginally to 82.4%.
The group carried 6.6 million passengers in the month. Air France-KLM said: “In line with previous months, the strength of traffic, particularly in the premium segment, as well as the rise in yield in the economy segment, enabled the Group to post a significant increase in the unit revenue per available seat kilometre.”
In the Americas, passenger traffic rose by +6.2%; in Asia Pacific the figure was up +13.5%; in Africa and the Middle East, activity was buoyant with traffic up +8.5%; in the Caribbean & Indian Ocean sector, traffic fell by -4.1%; and in Europe, traffic increased by +6.8%.
