Henkell Freixenet introduces Mionetto 0.0% Alcohol Free Rosé

Henkell Freixenet, the sparkling wine, wines & spirits division of Geschwister Oetker Beteiligungen, has extended its low/no-alcohol offer with a new Mionetto 0.0% Alcohol Free Rosé.

The expression follows the successful launch of Mionetto 0.0% Alcohol Free, which according to Henkell Freixenet about doubled its sales in 2023 versus the previous year.

Mionetto 0.0% Alcohol Free is the latest extension to Henkell Freixenet’s low/no-alcohol offer

The company noted the increasing popularity of alcohol-free drinks. “Whether for special occasions – such as the increasingly popular ‘Dry January’ – or year round for personal lifestyle reasons, no- and low-alcohol products are very much in vogue,” Henkell Freixenet said. “They continue to rise in popularity, in particular with the consumer behaviour of the Gen Z that has led to new opportunities for low and no alcohol.”

Henkell Freixenet added that no-alcohol sparkling wine consumption volume has increased by +7.1%, with the Mionetto Alcohol Free line improving its market share and Germany and Eastern European countries rated as “the most dynamic” markets in the non-alcohol sector.

Mionetto 0.0% Alcohol Free Rosé is carefully de-alcoholised to ensure freshness and a fruity smoothness. The gentle alcohol reduction of the selected base wines and refinement with natural aromas lend to a pink-peach blossom colour and a delicate scent of ripe fruit with hints of red fruit and grapefruit.

As reported, Henkell Freixenet introduced Mionetto Aperitivo Alcohol Free, based on selected citrus, fruit and botanicals, to travel retail at this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore.

Henkell Freixenet set a new revenue record of €1.23 billion (excluding excise taxes) for the fiscal year 2023. It represents a rise of +4.1% year-on-year. The company attributed the strong overall revenue performance to a good understanding of consumer needs, anticipating trends in global markets and a consistent focus on strategic brands. ✈
