Akvinta vodka goes Upper Class with Virgin – 13/07/09

INTERNATIONAL. Akvinta, positioned as the first Mediterranean luxury vodka, has confirmed its latest listing in Virgin Atlantic’s Upper Class cabin.

The brand, developed by Adriatic Distillers, will also be introducing its latest cocktail in Virgin Atlantic Clubhouses at London Heathrow, London Gatwick and New York JFK airports.

According to the company, Brand Ambassador Joel Constantino has developed the perfect sharpener: the Mediterranean Bloody Mary, which has the addition of orange juice to marry the hints of citrus within the vodka itself. The new cocktail will be introduced exclusively inflight.

Akvinta has also created other exclusive cocktails for Virgin Atlantic’s Heathrow Clubhouse, including the Stoic Virgin, the Red Hot Stoic, the Adam and Eve Of It and the Smooth Operator.
