DENMARK. Belvédère Duty Free will showcase its award-winning Danzka Vodka in its first ever appearance at the TFWA Asia Pacific show next month (Stand number C6).

Belvédère Duty Free Managing Director Wojtek Wydro and Regional Director The Americas Torben Vedel Andersen will be on hand to present the company’s complete and expanded portfolio.
“The exclusive Gautier Cognac range as well as our diverse duty free portfolio of Marie Brizard liqueurs will be featured. We look forward to expanding our duty free business for these brands considerably,” said Andersen.
Also to be featured on the stand is Sobieski Vodka from Poland, as well as super premium Sobieski Estate vodka and Russian Youri Dolgoruki vodka.
“Sobieski Vodka was launched last year in the US to great acclaim. It recently was named as the vodka to be sold exclusively at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden,” said Wydro.
Super premium Sobieski Estate vodka is priced at or near other super premiums like Grey Goose, according to the company. It is already sold in Americas travel retail, in duty free shops in Canada and with SMT Duty Free in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Moscow-made Youri Dolgoruki vodka is the Belvédère Group’s latest brand acquisition. “It is the brand of choice of the Mayor of Moscow, beautifully bottled, and also is priced in the super premium category,” said Wydro.
Youri Dolgoruki vodka is already listed in Canadian duty free shops and with Starboard Cruise Services ships sailing the Baltic in summer.
Danzka has just concluded 2007 with a growth of +45% in sales, said the company. “Danzka Vodka had a terrific 2007 and we are off to a strong start in 2008,” reported Andersen. “We want to thank all our customers in the Americas duty free channel who have so fantastically supported our brand and new team. We are very grateful.”
