Bobbi Brown’s reformulated Corrector |
INTERNATIONAL. Bobbi Brown has reformulated its Correctors and Creamy Concealers, which are said to deliver perfect coverage and erase dark under-eye circles. They will be available in travel retail – in shades tailored to different geographic regions – from March.
“This new formula gives quick, perfect coverage,” noted Brown. “It’s rich and creamy without being thick – so it goes on easily and blends smoothly with minimal effort.”
Brown believes that the secret to covering dark circles lies in a unique two-step approach. Consumers should use a pink- or peach-toned corrector to brighten and neutralise the purple/green tones of under-eye circles. Next a yellow-toned creamy concealer should be applied, to lighten and blend the under-eye area with the rest of the face.
The reformulated products boast a creamier, smoother texture for easier application, the brand maintains. They offer concentrated medium to full coverage. Emollients help to maintain skin’s moisture levels, for a lineless look. Vitamins C and E offer antioxidant benefits, while silica is said to create a flattering soft-focus effect. Lastly, kaolin helps the formula to stay in place and prevents it from settling into lines.
Bobbi Brown’s reformulated Corrector is available in 12 shades; the Creamy Concealer in 14. A Creamy Concealer Kit, complete with Pressed Powder, is also available.
