The new Braun Series 7: Model 730 |
GERMANY. Braun will present its new Series 7 shaver and Braun Satin Hair 5 Multistyler hair straightener, as well as a new packaging concept at the upcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore (Stand number: E9).
Series 7, Braun’s most premium shaver range, features Sonic Technology combined with an OptiFoil, Power Comb and three-stage cutting system to lift and capture hair stubbles efficiently.
Series 7 models also feature Personalization Modes for different areas of the face and individual needs, as well as a long hair trimmer for moustache and sideburns. The higher-end models (790CC and 760CC) come with the Clean&Renew System for convenient cleaning and charging. Model 730 is also available in special airline packaging. The short name for this version is 730 A.
Braun Satin Hair 5 Multistyler is Braun’s latest new-generation hair straightener that not only creates straight smooth hairs but also other styles such as curls, waves or flicks while protecting the hair from damage.

The Satin Hair 5 Multistyler utilises Curl Shaper Technology |
Key to the Braun Satin Hair 5 Multistyler is the Curl Shaper Technology, a specially designed area on the outside of the tool with smooth sides and a cooling rib on the top and bottom sections. These areas are ergonomically shaped allowing a curling and waving action to occur when the hair is wound round the tool.
The forming of hair is achieved by gently heating it between the plates, giving it a new form by moving it over the extra smooth edges and then allowing it to cool down in this form. This allows for “perfectly defined, smooth curls and creates beautiful looks in one stroke for any hair length”, said the company. Also, as the hair is not exposed to heat as long as when using common curlers, it looks beautiful and healthy, Braun commented.

Braun’s new optimised packaging is smaller in order to reduce transport costs and need for storage space |
New packaging concept
The TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition is also a launch pad for more products to appear in Braun’s new and unified packaging design. The new concept is based upon three main principles: packaging optimisation, a consistent Braun look and a simplified brand architecture.
The optimised packaging is smaller in order to reduce transport costs and need for storage space. The environment will also profit from this approach, said Braun. The new black layout creates a unified brand look which helps to portray Braun as one brand to the consumers instead of as individual categories.
The new simple, uncluttered layout on the front of the boxes creates maximum impact while detailed product information on the back and sides makes it easier to differentiate between ranges and gives knowledge to sales staff and consumers, Braun added.
The Series concept, as seen in the Braun shavers range, will gradually be applied to all categories. By introducing a similar structure to all other categories consumers will be able to differentiate easier between the products within the ranges, Braun concluded.
