Bvlgari and Avolta brew a luxury fragrance experience with Thé Impérial activation at Zurich Airport

Bvlgari brought its redesigned Salone Olfattivo concept to Zurich Airport for the Eau Parfumée Thé Imperial activation; blending fragrance discovery with an atmosphere inspired by a luxury hotel

SWITZERLAND. Roman luxury house Bvlgari has partnered with Avolta to showcase the Eau Parfumée collection through a two-month activation at Zurich Airport.

Running from 30 April to 30 June, the campaign showcases the new Eau Parfumée Thé Impérial fragrance within Bvlgari’s redesigned Salone Olfattivo retail concept. According to the brand, the initiative was created to reflect the maison’s luxury hospitality and fragrance heritage.

Salone Olfattivo is inspired by the interiors and atmosphere of the Bvlgari Hotel Roma. The space uses warm earthy tones, gold detailing and fragrance displays. The concept was designed to evoke the maison’s jewellery heritage and encourage travellers to explore the fragrance portfolio.

Gold accents, earthy tones and elevated storytelling define the Salone Olfattivo activation

As part of the activation, travellers passing through Zurich Airport can access a bespoke fragrance personalisation service. An artist will be on-site two days a week, offering complimentary hand-painted customisation of selected fragrance bottles.

Eau Parfumée Thé Impérial continues Bvlgari’s exploration of tea-inspired fragrances. Originally created in 2017 by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier as an exclusive scent for guests of Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, the fragrance has now been incorporated into the wider Eau Parfumée collection in global travel retail.

The scent combines black tea accords with Italian citrus notes, described by the company as an encounter between Chinese tea culture and Italian craftsmanship. According to Bvlgari, the fragrance formulation contains 92% natural-origin ingredients.

The fragrance is also available in a Body Shower Gel and Body Lotion inspired by the sensory experience of Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts.

A personal touch: Travellers at Zurich Airport can have selected fragrances hand-painted by an on-site artist as part of the two-month activation
