SINGAPORE. RSH Singapore and Active World will operate a Lacoste and Bonia store respectively after each winning speciality/brand name concessions at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2.
RSH Singapore will operate a 60sq m Lacoste unit in Departure/Transit Lounge North, with the concession beginning on 8 January and running for three years. The Bonia outlet operated by Active World is 94sq m, with the three-year contract beginning on 1 March 2012.
There is no option for renewal at the end of either concession.
The tender was hotly contested, with 21 bids placed for the two units. Among the other brands and concessionaires to make offers were Chomel, Esprit (each bidding under their own brand names), Aigner, Levi’s, Dockers, TM Lewin (all through Jay Gee Enterprises), Le Sportsac, Tumi (both Luxury Ventures), Tommy Hilfiger (King Power), Desigual, Kipling, Samsonite (both Nuance-Watson Asia) and Tie Rack.
