SINGAPORE. Singapore Changi Airport will welcome Air Macau on 3 January 2011 – the first carrier to join Changi’s growing network of airlines in the new year.
Air Macau, a full-service carrier, will operate twice-weekly passenger services to Macau on Airbus A321 aircraft with capacity for 178 passengers in a two-class configuration. It will operate at Changi Airport Terminal 2.

With the addition of Air Macau, the Singapore-Macau route will be served by three carriers – including Jetstar Asia and Tiger Airways – operating a total of 32 flights a week.
To celebrate its commencement of operations at Changi Airport, Air Macau is offering a one-for-one promotion for return business class fares at S$1,999 (US$1,540) for a pair of tickets. Economy class tickets start from S$199/US$153 (one-way) and S$299/US$230 (return). Fares exclude all applicable airport fees and surcharges, and terms and conditions apply. In 2010 nine new airlines commenced operations at Changi Airport – the two most recent being Philippine carrier Southeast Asian Airlines (SEAIR) and Moscow-based Transaero Airlines, both of which commenced flights to Changi Airport this month.
SEAIR operates a twice daily service between Singapore and Clark in the Philippines; Transaero flies twice weekly (Mondays and Wednesdays) on the Moscow-Bali-Singapore-Moscow route.
With the addition of Air Macau, SEAIR and Transaero Airlines, Changi Airport serves 101 airlines operating more than 5,200 scheduled flights each week, connecting Singapore to over 200 cities in 60 countries and territories.
