Changi welcomes The World of Polo ambassador Nacho Figueras

SINGAPORE. Nuance-Watson (Singapore) and Ralph Lauren Fragrances Travel Retail Asia-Pacific welcomed the ambassador of The World of Polo fragrances – world renowned polo player Ignacio “˜Nacho’ Figueras – to an exclusive appearance at Singapore Changi Airport this week.

Figueras was recently chosen to represent the World of Polo line of fragrances – Polo Modern Reserve, Polo Blue and Polo Black – as he “embodies the many facets of today’s modern Polo man”.

Describing how Figueras lives his life as the modern Polo man, Ralph Lauren Fragrances General Manager Guillaume de Lesquen said: “When he isn’t playing polo in the world’s most prestigious tournaments and promoting its heritage as an ambassador, he is sailing with his young family off the coast of Punta del Este, Uruguay and breeding horses on his ranch outside of Buenos Aires.”

Here in Singapore on his first-ever visit to Asia for a polo tournament, Figueras took the opportunity to promote Ralph Lauren Polo fragrances via a special appearance at Nuance-Watson’s store at Changi Airport Terminal 2.

Known for his sportsmanship and versatility, the Argentina-born model and polo player had photographs taken with travellers and also conducted a lucky draw.

Nuance-Watson (Singapore) Managing Director Ken Tse said: “The collaboration with Ralph Lauren is another effort to bring new excitement to passengers at Changi Airport and for us to continually innovate the “˜retail-tainment’ platform in travel retail industry.”

Scental Travel Retail Asia Pacific sees this partnership “as the first step of a new engagement to continuously enhance customers’ shopping experience in the travel retail environment.”
