FRANCE. Clarins has unveiled its new Instant Sun Light Collection, which helps consumers maintain a healthy, summery glow all year round.
The make-up line features flattering tones of gold and coral, which are said to melt together and reflect light to help create a sun-kissed look.

Key items include palettes and lip balms, presented in velvet pouches decorated with sparkling copper trim.
New for 2009 are the limited-edition Summer Glow Palette SPF15, the Shimmer Palette and the Lip Balm SPF6.
The Summer Glow Palette SPF15 contains four graduated shades to help create a radiant, sun-kissed complexion. The colours can be blended together, or used singly to illuminate or intensify.
The Shimmer Palette is a blend of gold and coral, inspired by the sun’s setting rays. The powder can be applied to the entire face, or to highlight the cheekbones, eyes and décolleté.
The Lip Balm SPF6 is described as a take-anywhere flavoured lip balm that both enhances and cares for lips. The available shades are Sunset Bronze (luminous gold with subtle pink nuances) and Sunset Coral (coral with golden sparkles).
Staying with the summer theme, Clarins has also extended its body portfolio with the new 250ml Sunshine Fragrance Moisturizing Body Lotion – an accompaniment to the company’s Sunshine Fragrance.
The Body Lotion is said to soften, lightly fragrance and enhance the skin’s natural beauty, while lifting the spirits.
It contains the protective Mimosa Tenuiflora, and soothing Camomile and Linden. Griffonia brings a natural feeling of well-being, according to Clarins, while essential oils of Sicilian mandarin, grapefruit, ylang-ylang and patchouli surround the body in “sparkling, sensual notes”.
