Welsh gold jewellery brand Clogau is on an expansion drive in 2013 as it looks forward to opening its first international store in China, at Beijing Capital Airport.
In addition, the company will be expanding its distribution in Abu Dhabi and extending listings with its established shipping retail partner Princess Cruises.
The new luxury Clogau boutique will open at Beijing Capital Airport in May 2013. Clogau will be showcasing a collection of 18ct gold, sterling silver and rose gold products.
The jeweller is also launching officially in Abu Dhabi Airport in June this year, in partnership with Pure Gold Jewellers, where a selection of exclusively 18ct gold pieces will be stocked.
Its Historical Royal Palaces inspired collections, Kensington and Royal Crown, will be showcased in Abu Dhabi.
Claire Jones, the former official Royal harpist and Clogau ambassador, will appear at the airport to promote Clogau’s popular Heartstrings collection.
Senior Clogau representatives including the Managing Director and Head of International Sales will also appear in June to support the launch.
Clogau said it hopes for further distribution opportunities, with Pure Gold Jewellers as partner, in the Middle East and India.

Meanwhile, Clogau is adding another two listings with its partner Princess cruise ships. The first, Sun Princess, launches in Japan with an 18ct gold and a silver range. The second, The Royal Princess, is a brand new ship and one of the biggest in the world, which launches in Europe in 2013 with an 18ct gold range and a silver range.
On The Royal Princess, Claire Jones will make a number of onboard performances to promote the Heartstrings range.
Clogau’s new 2013 collections all include a touch of rare Welsh gold, the same gold that has been used by British Royalty for over 100 years.
