DENMARK. Copenhagen Airport’s total passenger numbers rose by +2.6% for the month of November (versus the same month last year) to reach 1.66 million.
Total international passengers increased by +2.0%, to 1.48 million, while domestic numbers rose by +7.5% to reach 184,500.
Scheduled international traffic reached 1.40 million (+1.4%) during the month, while charter traffic put on +15.1% to 74,909.
Of the airport’s departing passengers 227,407 were transfer/transit, a drop of -11.8% against November last year. Local passenger numbers grew by +8.6% to 600,045.
There were 21,510 take-offs and landings at the airport in November, a slight decrease of -0.3%. Of these, 17,998 (-0.3%) were international and 3,522 (-0.5%) were domestic.
For the period January-November Copenhagen Airport handled a total of 19.93 million passengers, an increase of +2.5% over the same period in 2006. Of these 18.09 million (+1.9%) were international and 1.8 million (+8.8%) were domestic.
