ITALY. SoGeCos has released further details of the Cosmoprof Shanghai 2007 event, a regional extension of its Cosmoprof Asia concept. The exhibition will be held from 31 January to 3 February, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
According to SoGeCos, China’s booming cosmetics market means Cosmoprof Shanghai is an ideal platform for interested countries and companies to do business in China. The event targets selected manufacturers and buyers looking to develop a quality distribution system, and foreign investors who are China-product oriented.
Australia, France, Germany, Israel, Italy and Spain have confirmed their support for the debut event by each committing to an official country “pavilion”.
Hall 1 will be the showcase devoted to Finished Products, and the best product novelties not yet available to the Chinese consumer. Hall 2 will play host to Beauty Packaging Suppliers; over 75% of that exhibition area has already been booked.
Industry trendsetters such as Alcan, Axilone, Baralan, Brivaplast, Cosi, Durlin, Elcos, Fiabila, HCP and Intercos will all be present.
Cosmoprof Shanghai will also feature a Club Lounge located in the packaging section. This is described as a unique networking environment for manufacturers, professionals and buyers.
The event is being organised by the Cosmoprof Asia team, which includes a panel of consultants comprising professionals in China’s beauty business.
