Coty Prestige and Chloé join forces to raise funds for Japan

JAPAN. Coty Prestige has joined forces with license partner Chloé to raise funds for Japan following the earthquake and tsunami disaster in March.

A charity promotion was created for Japanese airports, whereby a portion of sales from Chloé fragrances was donated to the Japanese Red Cross. The promotion ran from mid-May to June, and generated US$18,000.

Coty hailed the success of the initiative, particularly given the fact that sales were down -30% on average in Japanese airport stores following the disaster. “We are pleased to have taken part in this important cause,” said the company in a statement.
