INTERNATIONAL. Coty Prestige is poised to introduce the new feminine fragrance from the house of Chopard, called Cascade. It will be available in selected European travel retail doors from August.
Inspired by Chopard Haute Joaillerie, and the glamour of the red carpet, the fragrance is said to illuminate a women’s personality with its dazzling aura – like a “glittering river of diamonds”.

Composed by IFF’s Béatrice Piquet and Juliette Karagueuzoglou, the juice opens on notes of pink pepper, grapefruit flower and mandarin, building to a heart of Belle de Nuit, a flower that opens in late afternoon and remains in bloom throughout the night. Other key ingredients include orchid, heliotrope, woods, amber and musk.
The fragrance flacon was inspired by the idea of a woman draping her diamond bracelet over a perfume bottle while disrobing after a glamorous night out.
The outer carton, shaded the colour of pink Champagne, echoes the diamond theme, its surface embossed with faceted gems.
The advertising campaign was shot by Patrick Demarchelier, and features model Michaela Hlavackova in a strapless evening gown and diamond jewellery.
Chopard Cascade will be available as a 30ml, 50ml and 75ml edp, plus a 200ml shower gel and 200ml body veil.
In other news, Coty will update its Marc Jacobs Daisy franchise with a 100ml limited-edition Silver version, which will be available in European travel retail from August.
It will feature the same rich notes as the original edp offering, presented this time in a collectible metallic flacon.
The bottle is silver, topped with the signature daisy-inspired cap in gold. The outer carton is silver, decorated with gold-coloured daisies.
