INDIA. Delhi Duty Free has launched a two-month long “˜Perfume Festival’ in its arrivals and departures shops at Indira Gandhi International Airport for the upcoming Christmas and New Year festival season. Kicking off on 21 November, the festival will continue until 15 January 2012.
As part of the promotion, travellers who buy more than two fragrances will receive a complimentary GWP ranging from travel and hand bags, perfume miniatures and toiletry sets to pouches, air fresheners and compact mirrors. Delhi Duty Free is offering over 150 fragrances from leading international brands as part of the festival.

“The period of Christmas and New Year is the perfect time for gifting,” said a spokesperson for the retailer. “By launching the Perfume Festival around this time we are giving our travellers an opportunity to not only buy perfumes for their loved ones but also ensure that they end up getting a free gift for themselves.
“We received a very positive response from our travellers for the Beauty Festival that was launched earlier this year and are sure that the Perfume Festival will also be much appreciated.”
