DFS and brand partners, plus Tiffany, Bally and Coach triumph in Changi luxury tender – 14/07/06

SINGAPORE. DFS Venture Singapore was today named the winner of four luxury brand name concessions at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal Two in one of the year’s most important awards.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore launched a mega-tender for seven concessions in May, which attracted a strong line-up of retailers and brand names. The other winning bidders were Tiffany & Co, Luxury Ventures (representing Bally) and American Style (representing Coach).

DFS won concessions A, B and C, each of which offers around 103sq m of trading space. It also won concession G at 144sq m.

DFS offered Gucci or Burberry in its options for concessions A and G, Polo Ralph Lauren, Bvlgari or Prada for concession B and Hermès for concession C. It has not been specified which brands will be offered by DFS in each outlet.

Luxury Ventures won concession E (165sq m), Tiffany won concession F (152sq m) and American Style concession D (114sq m).

Three of the concessions (A, B and C) will run from 1 January 2007, three (D, E and F) will run from 15 February 2007 and one (G) from 8 February 2007 – in each case for a three-year non-renewable term.
