Ever Rich Duty Free has introduced nine wines from South African wine distributor Diverse Flavours to its duty free locations across Taiwan.
The wines include Cederberg, Ernie Els, Deetlefs and Napier. Diverse Flavours Managing Director Anthony Budd ran five training seminars and tasting sessions at Taoyuan, Taichung and Kaohsiung airports to support the launch.
Budd said: “There is nothing better than talking to the sales staff about your wines and getting their feedback and first-hand reactions. For many of the 160 sales staff it was their first time learning about South Africa, the wine industry there and the wineries, as well as tasting South African wines.
“They were all great groups and we had a lot of fun. I was particularly impressed by their dedication, knowledge and enthusiasm – I think we will have great sales results in the future. Thanks to Ever Rich Duty Free and all the staff for organising and making the training sessions a great success.”
