UK. The Nuance Group’s flagship Fashion Gallery is the focal point of Manchester airport’s second phase retail expansion opened earlier this month.
The Fashion Gallery includes Hugo Boss, Ted Baker and Stefanel areas. This is a concept that has already proved hugely popular in Hong Kong airport.
The airside Fashion Gallery will also retail the casual wear brands Kangol and Quiksilver while another new arrival landside will be Monsoon womenswear, opening in June.
The new area is part of a major investment plan, including a £5.5 million (US$9.0m) terminal one retail expansion.
The first phase of the retail development saw Boots, O’Briens, Allsports and WH Smith move into larger spaces, along with a new Salisburys opened in April, offering fashionable bags and beach accessories.
The second-phase retail openings will be completed through May and June.
