SPAIN. Just launched to the global travel retail industry is Fat Burner, a low-calorie fitness drink from Tone Tea.
The green tea-based drink is rapidly growing distribution in Europe, with upcoming launches planned for the US, UK and China.
Fat Burner is described as a tasty and healthier alternative to sugar-based carbonated energy and sports drinks. The drink contains L-Carnitine, a natural ingredient that is claimed to help the body burn fat by transforming it into energy. It is available in 500ml bottles in three flavours: Green Tea, Lemon and Cranberry/Aronia fusion.
Each bottle of Fat Burner contains 100% of the daily recommended dosage of vitamin C and various B-group vitamins and contains only 0.9 calories per 100ml. RRP will be about €1.90-€2.50 per bottle.
