Inflight services specialist gategroup has revealed a new logo, visual identity and tagline, ‘creating culinary connections’, unifying its business segments under one brand identity.

The rebranding features a new endorsed brand architecture focused on visual connection, brand equity and brand recognition, the company said.

The updated brand identity reflects the shared vision and solid brand affiliation within its three business segments. These include its aviation catering business represented by gategourmet and servair; retail onboard, with gateretail; and food solutions with its new brand gatesolutions.

Its food solutions business also includes deSter, a provider of innovative food packaging and serviceware concepts to the aviation and foodservice industry.

gategroup has also added the uqonic brand to its food solutions business, offering culinary and hospitality experiences for guests at lounges and special events.

The rebranding highlights each brand’s distinct identity while remaining visually connected to the mother brand.

The group’s new slogan, ‘creating culinary connections’, signifies its role in the travel and foodservice sectors. gategroup said: “Food is what brings us together as people and allows us to share in a unique experience. When thinking of the new company theme and tagline, gategroup was looking for something that would symbolise the way we come together over food, that shows how we work collaboratively with our partners, and symbolises our roots in the culinary and travel industry.”  ‍
