BELGIUM. Godiva Chocolatier’s International Travel Retail Manager Gerry Murray will leave the Belgian company at the end of March to join luggage firm Samsonite in the newly created position of Travel Retail Director. Murray has been with Godiva for eight years.

“I have enjoyed my time with Godiva enormously and have greatly appreciated the opportunity to work with a great team on a fantastic brand. I have learnt a huge amount and am looking forward to using that experience in my new role,” he said.

In the short term Murray’s responsibilities will be handled by Business Director Sylvie Fiers. “All of us at Godiva will miss Gerry,” Fiers said. “He has done great work for the company and we wish him much success in his new position.”
