GERMANY. Heinemann Duty Free has launched its “˜Magical Asia’ promotion at Frankfurt Airport, with an area in one of its stores dedicated to brands from the Asia Pacific region.
Running until 3 May, the promotion sees products from around Asia presented in a special promotional area in the retailer’s Terminal 1 store, featuring brands such as Shanghai Tang, Issey Miyake and Hello Kitty.
Spirits also feature in the promotion, with Bombay Sapphire East selected because of its Asian influence and Fruity Pommery Cuvée Louise being presented in Shanghai Tang bags.

Gebr Heinemann is currently the only retailer in Germany to operate an outlet for luxury Chinese brand Shanghai Tang, with a boutique located in transit area B of Terminal 1.
Shanghai Tang products featured in the area include purses, clutch bags and bracelets for women, as well as double-sided scarves in pashmina, cashmere and silk for men, embroidered with symbols for luck and success. Continuing the spring theme, Issey Miyake’s flowery new Pleats Please and L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme are also featured.
