Hong Kong International Airport enters seasonal shopping drive

HONG KONG. Hong Kong International Airport has partnered with China UnionPay, China Merchant Bank and key retail and food & beverage concessionaires for a major end-of-year promotional drive.

The promotion includes incentives and price-offs for customers with China UnionPay (CUP) and China Merchant Bank cards. For CUP members this includes the chance to win a HK$20,000 travel coupon (a total of ten winners will be selected) on spends of HK$500 or more.

From 16 December to 3 January, and from 1 to 8 February, CUP cardholders can get a free pack of dining coupons at redemption booths at HKIA. The coupons, worth HK$130, can be used in dedicated catering outlets in terminals 1 and 2.

China Merchant Bank credit card holders can also enjoy a wide span of offers at selected brands and outlets at HKIA. For example, with any purchase of HK$2,000 or above with a China Merchant Bank credit card cardholders can redeem a HK$100 retail coupon.

The airport has also launched its Hearty Dining Campaign for December, timed to celebrate HKIA’s success in winning the Best Airport Dining Award from Skytrax and the new line-up of T1 East Hall catering outlets.

The campaign offers customers and travellers with signature dishes at discount rates or with special offers. Over 50 dining outlets in T1 and T2 are participating in the campaign and provide a wide range of local, Asian and international food.
