Jack Daniel’s takes flight on AirAsia – 18/06/08

MALAYSIA. Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey has been listed onboard AirAsia, the Kuala Lumpur-based low-cost airline, from this month.

Brown-Forman Travel Retail Vice President and Managing Director Jim Perry said the brand should have wide appeal among AirAsia travellers.

“Passengers on AirAsia are obviously value conscious and we feel the ability to purchase an outstanding whiskey like Jack Daniel’s in a duty free environment will have considerable appeal,” Perry said.

Officially registered by the US Government in 1866, the Jack Daniel Distillery is the oldest registered distillery in the US and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
