James Blunt to star at TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes

FRANCE. TFWA has announced that popular British singer-songwriter James Blunt (pictured right) will be the star attraction at this year’s Cannes show “˜Le Premium Evening’ on Thursday 22 September.

Blunt will give an exclusive dinner concert at the event.

TFWA noted: “It has been decided to return this year to the previous format for Le Premium Evening with a seated dinner and a world-famous artist to entertain the guests.”

James Blunt’s debut album “˜Back to Bedlam’ and single releases including “˜You’re Beautiful’ and “˜Goodbye My Lover’ brought him to fame in 2005 with a style described as a mix of pop, rock and folk music.

Blunt has won two BRIT Awards, two Ivor Novello Awards, and by 2006 had been nominated for five Grammy Awards. His subsequent albums, “˜All the Lost Souls’ released in 2007 and “˜Some Kind of Trouble’ in 2010, have sold millions of copies.

Full delegates registered for TFWA World Exhibition will have included in their registration pack a ticket to this private dinner and concert event. The capacity of the venue is limited so early registration is recommended. Online pre-registration for the exhibition opens at www.tfwa.com on 4 May.

TFWA World Exhibition is the premier exhibition for the global duty free and travel retail industry and will run this year from Sunday 18 to Friday 23 September in the Palais des Festivals, Cannes.
