IRELAND. Jameson, the world’s leading Irish whiskey brand, has unveiled a new advertising campaign entitled “Perfectly Balanced”.
Launched earlier this month, the advert (pictured left) features the text “John Jameson’s smooth whiskey from Ireland” underneath the main motif, and is displayed across 26 sites at six airports: London Heathrow, Amsterdam Schiphol, Frankfurt, Moscow Domodedovo, Marseilles and Keflavik.
“The advertising campaign will enhance Jameson’s position in travel retail where sales represent 10% globally,” said Irish Distillers Regional Manager of Travel Retail Michael Cunningham.
“In 2006 sales of Jameson in travel retail increased by +12% compared to the previous year.”
