Kenzo and JCDecaux Airport offered 10,000 flowers to passengers as part of the Essentielle Eau de Parfum launch

THAILAND. To celebrate the launch of its new Essentielle Eau de Parfum, Kenzo scattered 10,000 scented poppies around the duty free area of Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, in an innovative partnership with JCDecaux Airport.

Passengers were invited to pick the flowers as the poppies also doubled as tester samples of Kenzo’s new fragrance.

Outdoor media specialist JCDecaux Airport Thailand noted that this latest promotion emphasised its continuing dedication to offering state-of-the-art advertising solutions to Thai and international audiences in a premium environment. It also helped drive footfall into and penetration within the duty free stores.

The company noted: “Thanks to this innovative solution, Kenzo was able to create a buzz at Bangkok Airport and beyond its boundaries. JCDecaux provided Kenzo with the opportunity to be the top-of-mind brand for over 1.3 million departing international passengers in the Bangkok Airport duty free area.

The scented poppies formed part of a targeted promotional campaign in the duty free area of Bangkok Airport
