Lacoste has opened a duty free corner in downtown Shanghai’s CNSC-operated Yueda Plaza 889.
Lacoste said the point-of-sale is in line with the new Chinese duty free policy, which allows Chinese travellers to benefit from a 190-day duty free shopping period upon re-entry to the country.

CNSC Deputy General Manager Jacky Yan said: “We are very happy to work with Lacoste’s travel retail team and really appreciate the mutual understanding and cooperation. Lacoste’s corner in our store really reflects the brand’s spirit which I like very much.
“We are aiming at building a long term relationship with Lacoste and do hope Lacoste will be present in our future downtown duty free projects.”
