AUSTRALIA. Lagardère AWPL has expanded its Australian airports network with the opening of two stores, one each at Adelaide and Townsville airports.
The Amuse Beauty concept opened at Adelaide Airport on Thursday. It takes the beauty retail brand to a new audience in the region, with a series of stores opening under the concept name since it made its debut in Australia in 2015.
On Friday, the retailer opened destination goods outlet The Townsville Store at Townsville Airport in Queensland. The company said: “The Townsville Store is a true celebration of this special part of Australia, plus all your travel essentials including tech, in one place.”
As reported, Lagardère Travel Retail Pacific and Australian travel retailer AWPL created a joint venture effective from 1 January 2022. Lagardère AWPL embraces each company’s operations in Australia and New Zealand including duty free, food services, travel essentials and specialty retail.
