FRANCE. Lagardère Travel Retail has reached a key milestone in its ESG journey, with its greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
The approval demonstrates that the company’s commitments to meet the most stringent scientific criteria to limit global warming to 1.5°C, reinforcing the credibility and ambition of its decarbonisation strategy.

This achievement also bolsters the retailer’s dedication to lowering greenhouse gas emissions throughout its entire supply chain:

- Lagardère Travel Retail also commits to reducing its indirect greenhouse gas emissions (scope 3) -25% within the same timeframe.
These goals meet the latest SBTi requirements, regarded as one of the most rigorous standards for corporate climate commitments.
