Spanish porcelain brand Lladró will present its Porcelain Lights Collection, a series of porcelain lithophanes, at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes this October.
The collection comprises a series of original pieces based on the traditional concept of lithophanes engraved with illustrations. When lit with candles or leds, the transparency of the porcelain allows the light inside to shine through, creating a hyperrealistic, almost photographic effect, the company said. This is said to imbue a sense of warmth into all ambiences.
“Their originality, universal attractiveness and high perceived value make them an excellent choice for a gift, even for recipients who are not actual collectors of Lladró,” said Lladró Marketing Manager EMEA & Travel Retail Vicente Conejos Martinez.
The collection will also be available from the Lladró dispenser tower that was introduced in 2010 and which has been installed in numerous travel retail areas worldwide. This display unit will be updated to showcase these small porcelain items lit from the inside.
