L’Oréal Paris expands its travel retail portfolio – 29/06/06

FRANCE. L’Oréal Paris is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Revitalift skincare range with a special travel retail set.

The Revitalift Day set features three anti-wrinkle and firming creams – the third item is free. The Revitalift line is targeted at women aged 40 and over.

L’Oréal claims to have reinforced the Revitalift formula for a more immediate, visible action. Four hours after application, clinical tests showed the skin to be +37% firmer and more elastic, according to the company.

After four weeks’ use, 90% of women found their skin to be smoother, with less noticeable wrinkles. 73% said their skin was firmer.

Meanwhile within make-up L’Oréal Paris has expanded its Volume Shocking Mascara with a waterproof version. The product features the same two-step formula.

Step one comprises a base coat for a “superstructure” effect. It is applied with a patented criss-cross wand. Step two comprises an ultra-volumising top coat. It is applied via a comb applicator with two rows of alternating teeth, each of which acts as a product reservoir.

Volume Shocking Waterproof is presented in the same shape packaging as the original, but in a blue and black colour-scheme for easy differentiation.

Lastly, L’Oréal Paris has introduced its Perfectslim Leg Relief product into travel retail. Said to be ideal for long-haul travellers, it helps relieve heavy, tired legs with a new chill-action technology which lowers the temperature of the skin’s surface by -6°C in ten seconds.

Perfectslim Leg Relief also hydrates the legs, and is said to help stimulate the micro-circulation.
