FRANCE. L’Oréal Paris Travel Retail has introduced a new mascara in the channel.
Volume Shocking Double Mascara is said to deliver 12 times the volume to lashes. Its two-step formula and packaging have been developed after four years of research, according to the company.
Step one comprises a base coat for a “superstructure” effect. It is applied with a patented criss-cross wand.
The base coat covers lashes, priming them from root to tip. The formula includes Pro-Vitamin B5 to detangle, smooth and separate.
Step two comprises an ultra-volumising top coat. It is applied via a comb applicator with two rows of alternating teeth, each of which acts as a product reservoir.
The result, claims L’Oréal, is intense, thickening, easy-to-apply colour.
