SWITZERLAND. Swiss chocolate house Maestrani is collaborating with Dufry in an Avelines promotion at Zurich Airport.
The Level 2 activation includes an in-store chocolate fountain with passengers encouraged to try a Swiss chocolate fondue. It also highlights an exclusive gold-wrapped edition of Avelines pralines as the brand continues its 100th anniversary celebrations.
Gift sets of the pralines – which include selected cocoa beans, Swiss whole milk, hazelnuts, almonds, and Bourbon Vanilla extract from Madagascar – are featured in the promotion which targets Christmas and festive season shopping and will run until the end of January.
Avelines was created in 1922, and acquired from Favarger earlier this year. As reported, Avelines marked its centenary with an exclusive summer-long promotion at Geneva Airport in partnership with Aelia Duty Free (Lagardère Travel Retail).
