Luxury leathergoods brand MCM has revealed details of its SS18 Gunta M Collection, which is inspired by the work of German textile artist Gunta Stölzl.
The collection, officially called Gunta M Visetos, will be available in December in domestic markets and global travel retail.
Pieces in the collection are rendered in a graphic blue, black, white and grey colourway and feature a hidden M-shape repeat within their pattern.
Most travel retail stores will feature the brand’s Kreuzberg Backpack, its best-selling Stark Backpack, a North-South Shopper Tote and a Weekender.
Speaking to The Moodie Davitt Report at TFWA World Exhibition, MCM Travel Retail Manager Angela Lam said the brand will continue to focus on expanding outside of Asia Pacific. Key target markets are the USA and Europe.
Lam also noted that MCM is reviewing its points-of-sale network to ensure “retail excellence is delivered”.
