Monarq Group and CEDC International form strategic alliance

POLAND/US. Monarq Group and CEDC International have formed a strategic partnership for the Latin America and Caribbean markets and US duty free, effective 1 February.

The agreement will see Monarq distributing the CEDC portfolio of vodkas, including the original Bison Grass from Poland, Zubrowka and Green Mark.

CEDC International Vice President Sales Americas and Asia Rich Roberts commented: “We have been looking for the right regional distribution partner since we acquired Green Mark vodka in 2010 and were impressed with Monarq’s performance, its in-depth knowledge of the markets and its brand building capabilities.

“Our unique vodka brands have found a great home in Monarq’s portfolio. For CEDC International, this is the perfect match to ensure the correct and successful implementation of the brands’ strategies,” Roberts added.

Monarq Group Managing Director Robert de Monchy said: “There are hundreds of different vodkas around, so we have taken some time to make an in-depth analysis of the vodka market and its players. Our patience paid off nicely, as we now welcome Green Mark plus the truly unique Polish Zubrowka Bison Grass vodka to our portfolio.
