Mondelez World Travel Retail names Tamara Abusara as Communications & Events Manager

Mondelez World Travel Retail has named Tamara Abusara as Communications & Events Manager, effective 1 April. She reports to Head of Customer Marketing Richard Houseago.

According to the company, Abusara’s appointment strengthens its focus on communication activities and key events in the channel.

In her new role, Abusara is responsible for Mondelez World Travel Retail’s external communications and trade events. She brings extensive experience in brand communication and an ability to effectively deliver complex in-store activations.

Abusara joined the company four years ago, starting as a Junior Manager for the Milka, Freia and Marabou brands before becoming Customer Marketing Executive World Travel Retail.

“Tamara’s keen understanding of brand communication, the importance of the consumer journey as well as the needs of our partners in the channel arrives at a strategic period where communications activities, events and the virtual world are becoming increasingly interdependent,” said Richard Houseago.

“Her open and intelligent communication style will support us as we continually push boundaries while connecting with our valued partners as we navigate the recovery phase.”
