Mondelez World Travel Retail (WTR) has revealed a number of personnel changes to its management team.

Thomas Bodenmann, who has been with Mondelez for 11 years, most recently as Head of Regions, is leaving the business to pursue another opportunity within the travel retail channel.

Martin Kläusli, will replace Bodenmann as the new Head of Regions. He will be responsible for working with the Regional Accounts team to support regional partners. Reporting to Kläusli will be:

– Lucas Roberts – Senior Business Development Manager, Middle East & ISC
– Rajiv Malhotra – Senior Business Development Manager, Asia-Pacific & Oceania
– Peter Max – Senior Business Development Manager, Europe

Kläusli has been with Mondelez since 1999, joining the European Export team in 2007 and assuming leadership of the business in 2009. He has played a key role in delivering category and brand growth across a number of EU markets, said the company.

Nicole Hatt will leave her current position as Manager Category Marketing, WTR to take on the role of Head of European Export. In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing the growth of Mondelez’s brands in key EU markets and strengthening collaboration with local distributors in those regions.

Mondelez WTR Managing Director Andreas Fehr said: “On behalf of everyone at Mondelez WTR I would like to thank Thomas for the drive, passion and excellence he has demonstrated during his time at Mondelez. He played a vital role in the transition to our new structure last year, and before that, as Regional Director Europe, was instrumental in driving category growth in Mondelez WTR’s largest and most mature region.

“I’m delighted to announce that Martin Kläusli will be taking on the role of Head of Regions within the WTR business. Martin has been at the helm of our European Export business for a number of years, consistently delivering exceptional results. Replacing him will be Nicole Hatt who has been a great asset to the Mondelez WTR team, and been at the forefront of the brand innovation which is so central to our strategy. I would like to wish Nicole and Martin all the best in their new roles.”
