FRANCE. Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur (ACA) today unveiled a trio of upscale shops at Nice Airport’s Business Aviation Terminal. The retail offer at the location was previously limited to Hour Passion, a high-end watch and jewellery boutique selling premium brands such as Breguet, Blancpain, Tiffany and Omega.

Aelia’s new wines & spirits offer focuses on “outstanding brands and exclusive cases” |
That concept has now been joined by three others: a wines & spirits and perfume boutique run by Aelia; a Petrossian boutique; and a Vilebrequin fashion corner (both operated by Dufry).
“I wish these new boutiques every success,” noted ACA Management Board Chairman Dominique Thillaud. “Their iconic brands and exclusive products will contribute to enrich the customer experience and service quality we wish to offer the demanding clientele of the Business Aviation Terminal. I am certain that this new offer will meet with success.”
Aelia’s wines & spirits and beauty boutique focuses on “outstanding brands and exclusives cases”, according to ACA. The offer features Grand Crus wines such as Petrus and Margaux, vintage Champagnes from Dom Pérignon and Cristal Roederer, renowned Cognacs (Hennessy, Martell, Delamain) and whiskies (Chivas Regal, Glenfiddich), plus a selection of fragrance houses that are considered emblematic of French luxury (such as Guerlain, Hermès and Yves Saint Laurent).
A larger product selection will be available to passengers via digital tablets, for pre-order and collection on subsequent visits. In addition, sales advisors’ cards may be retained for future personal contact.

The Petrossian boutique showcases top-quality sturgeon or Beluga caviar, smoked salmon (including the renowned “Tsar cut”), foie gras, truffles, fine grocery and confectionery products.
Vilebrequin, described as a symbol of French Riviera chic, was the obvious choice for fashion, ACA underlined. The collection on offer comprises the brand’s more exclusive range of limited-edition luxury swimwear.
In order to meet the expectations of the Business Terminal’s demanding customers, Dufry has created a specific training programme for its sales advisors, which included a visit to the Petrossian workshops in Paris, in order to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the brand’s entire range.

The multi-lingual sales staff (Arabic and Russian predominate) will also provide VIP services, such as 24-hour home delivery, pre-ordering on arrival and collection on departure.
Note: Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur manages the Nice Côte d’Azur, Cannes Mandelieu and (since July 2013) Saint-Tropez airports. It is Europe’s number two business aviation hub. Nice Côte d’Azur is France’s second largest airport after Paris, with 11.5 million passengers in 2013, 104 direct destinations and 54 scheduled airlines serving 34 countries. It is also the only French airport, other than Paris, to offer daily flights to New York and Dubai.
The Business Terminal overhaul takes place ahead of an ambitious revamp of Nice Airport’s Terminals 1 and 2, for which the tender details were revealed by The Moodie Report last month.
