Orlando Airport international traffic posts solid traffic growth

US. Orlando International Airport handled a total of 2.8 million passengers in November 2011, an increase of +1.23% on the previous year.

International passengers rose by +3.27% to 261,924 in the month, while domestic passengers grew +1.67% to 2.6 million.

In the calendar year to the end of November the airport handled 32.4 million passengers in total – a rise of +1.6% over the same period in 2010. International passengers grew +5.38% to 3.1 million for the period.

On a rolling 12-month basis the airport handled 35.4 million passengers, a rise of +1.94%. The same period saw international passenger numbers grow +5.6% to 3.4 million.

Fiscal year end 2011 traffic summary

Total passenger traffic at Orlando International Airport grew +3.7% to 35.6 million in fiscal year 2011 ended September 2011.

International passenger traffic for the year rose +6.2% to 3.4 million, while domestic passenger traffic increased +3.4% to 32.2 million.
