USA. Travel restaurateur OTG is to offer a pre-ordering service for passengers using CLEAR pre-clearance security lanes at Orlando International Airport.
CLEAR offers passengers a fast track through airport security by pre-approving them for clearance. Members will be able to order snacks and drinks from food-to-go outlet Cibo Express Gourmet Market using touch-to-pay technology at dedicated security lanes.
The programme is being made permanent after a successful five-month trial.
CLEAR Chairman and CEO Caryn Seidman said: “We understand the many pain points and bottlenecks travellers face today and are very excited to ease the stress with this new programme.”
OTG Founder and CEO Rick Blatstein added: “Our partnership with CLEAR gives our customers a convenient new way to enjoy fresh and healthy Cibo Express Gourmet Market items, and is an exciting step in our mission to transform the airport experience through enhanced dining, design, technology and service.”
The partners also noted: “With overwhelming positive response from customers and partners, CLEAR has made the offering a permanent benefit and is working to take it to all CLEAR airports nationwide.”
CLEAR operates at nine airports in the USA, and will open at Las Vegas McCarran and Miami International airports soon.
