CHINA. Passenger traffic at Beijing Capital International Airport was up +16.6% to 2.3 million in February year-on-year the company reported this week. It attributed the traffic growth to the Chinese New Year.
However, international passenger traffic was down -2.6% to 412,990 in February, bringing the total number of international passengers for the first two months to 877,035, down -1.1%. The number of passengers carried by foreign airlines rose +0.6% to 317,545 in February.
