Happy 30: Pilgrim’s Autumn 13 campaign |
Pilgrim is celebrating 30 years of jewellery design with a “sparkly” limited-edition collection.
The anniversary series is designed to be worn at cocktail hour styled with a black dress or worn against a simple sweater for a fashion-forward everyday look.
Founder and Creative Director Annemette Markvad explained: “We wanted to create a design using colours and stones with roots in Pilgrim, incorporating a modern expression reflecting Pilgrim’s current development.”
Markvad added: “30 years is a party and it should be celebrated with sparkly jewellery that has history, beauty and vitality.”
Autumn 13 collection
Pilgrim’s Autumn 13 collection is described as a different and beautiful fusion of new and old elements from classical stories.
Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina with her feminine jewellery is the main source of inspiration for the collection.
The “futuristic yet historic” collection combines raw organic shapes with shimmering reflections. Studs, spikes,
textures and leather delicately go hand in hand with soft, rounded shapes and florals.
About Pilgrim
Pilgrim was founded in 1983 when two Danes – Annemette Markvad and Thomas Adamsen – sold their jewellery mainly at festivals. Their designs sought to reflect their love of music and people and their values of spontaneity, intimacy and authenticity.
Founder and Creative Director Annemette Markvad said: “Thomas and I were not business people, and we began Pilgrim very much from the heart. We have always had two key aims: to create beautiful jewellery that makes you feel beautiful. And to create a workplace where everyone enjoys coming to work and where words like respect, responsibility and trust are cherished concepts put into practice. Pilgrim is all about going out and seeking new things, new ways, and new journeys.”
