Plaza Premium Lounge Management renamed as Plaza Premium Group

HONG KONG. Premium airport services company Plaza Premium Lounge Management has rebranded as Plaza Premium Group, as the company celebrates its 17th anniversary.

The change, which is said to better reflect the group’s business strategies and expansion plan, includes a new logo and the purpose statement “˜Making Travel Exceptional’.

As part of the rebranding, Plaza Premium Group has added Aerotel and Allways brands to its existing portfolio, consolidating the group’s businesses into four core pillars: airport lounge, airport transit hotel, airport meet & greet service and airport dining.

Aerotel, a chain of airport transit hotels, is located either inside or alongside airport terminals, and aims to provide travellers with tranquility, comfort and convenient accommodation. Aerotel will make its debut at Singapore Changi and Abu Dhabi International airports later this year, followed by London Heathrow Airport in 2016.

Allways is an airport meet & greet service which aims to provide travellers with any requests they desire, from welcome gifts, one-stop pick-ups, lounge stays, buggy services, baggage handling and limousine transfers to restaurant and itinerary recommendations. Plaza Premium Group is launching Allways in phases at seven airports, starting with Toronto Pearson and New Delhi Indira Gandhi International airports, followed by Changi, Macau, Kuala Lumpur, Muscat and London Heathrow.

Plaza Premium Group Founder and CEO Song Hoi-see said: “We have organically grown from our position as the pioneer of the independent lounge concept to a global premium airport services provider. The new name marks a step towards reflecting the group’s increasingly diversified airport hospitality businesses. We believe airports are a destination in themselves and our services and facilities will give travellers more reasons to enjoy their travel experience.

“We strongly believe the travel experience begins the moment you step into the airport and that airport transit is a journey in itself, what we endeavor to create is a unique experience of ultimate comfort, convenience, value as well as love and care from our team, we design every service meticulously with this formula in mind”.

Last week, Airport Authority Hong Kong presented Plaza Premium Group with a Certificate of Appreciation for the following award categories: Corporate Excellence, Cross-Company Excellence and Individual Excellence.

Plaza Premium Group currently operates in more than 120 locations in 35 international airports and said it plans to manage 200 locations by 2018.
