Porsche Design has unveiled a new eyewear campaign, which stars 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship winner Mark Webber.
Said to emphasise Porsche Design’s connection to motor sports, the campaign showcases the brand’s new P’8678 sunglasses – an updated version of Porsche Design’s iconic P’8478 titanium model. Featuring a pure titanium frame, the P’8678 sunglasses come with the same unique lens shape and nose bridge as its predecessor and includes revamped interchangeable lens technology.

According to Porsche Design, the interchangeable lens locking mechanism allows consumers to comfortably, quickly and safely replace lenses. Each pair of sunglasses comes with an additional set of sun protection lenses in a different shade, said to provide a casual and sporty elegant look.
Porsche Design Group CEO Dr. Christian Kurtzke said: “Just like with our mechanical titanium Porsche Design watches, our brand stands for sporty elegance in titanium eyewear. As a material, titanium is key to our uncompromising quality standard and provides outstanding durability and lightness at the same time – distinctive performance benefits for both our correction eyewear as well as our sunglasses.”
