RSH Singapore to open Lacoste store at Changi T3 after capturing latest mid-price fashion concession – 08/10/08

SINGAPORE. RSH Singapore, bidding on behalf of the Lacoste brand, has captured the latest mid-price fashion concession at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3, Departure/Transit Lounge North.

The company offered either 18% of monthly gross sales or a Minimum Monthly Guarantee of S$16,000, whichever is higher.

It beat competition from five other bidders, though under Changi’s two-envelope system only two of these made it through to the financial bids stage. These were Esprit Retail, bidding on behalf of the Esprit brand, and Jay Gee Enterprises, which tendered with the Levi’s brand. The other three companies had their financial bids returned unopened.

The contract begins on 1 January 2009 and runs for three years. RSH (Royal Sporting House) is a leading pan-Asian retailer and distributor of sports, fashion and lifestyle brands.
