The Renaissance watch draws inspiration from a decorative bow featured in Ferragamo’s fashion collections |
ITALY. Salvatore Ferragamo Timepieces has previewed its new Renaissance watch model in the run-up to the BaselWorld watch and jewellery fair next month.
The creative use of colour and precious stones to obtain sophisticated chromatic effects is the characteristic feature of Renaissance, which is described as a fashion vintage watch for women with a quartz movement.
Drawing inspiration from a decorative bow featured in the Italian fashion house’s collections, the sinuous case is set off by retro details like the roman indices, the mesh band bracelet and the cabochon enhanced crown, all contributing to a trendy, sophisticated look.
The feminine variants of the watch feature a steel or IP gold case, illuminated by diamonds or blue or pink sapphires on the top ring, combined with fine lizard or satin straps in various colours co-ordinated with the case.
Ferragamo watches are produced in Switzerland by the Timex Group.
