INTERNATIONAL. Aer Rianta International (ARI) is celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) with a homepage makeover of The Moodie Davitt Report.
This year, ARI’s campaign follows the theme ‘She Who’ and shines a deserved spotlight on the inspirational women that lead, inspire, motivate and encourage their colleagues.
The ‘She Who’ campaign encouraged the team at ARI to submit anonymous short stories about female colleagues who deserve to be highlighted. The stories are highlighted across ARI’s and The Moodie Davitt Report’s social media channels this week under the hashtag #InternationalWomensDayARI.
Commenting on the inspiring campaign, ARI Chief Executive Officer Ray Hernan said: “We want to empower our people at ARI through innovative programmes like ‘She Who’, that inevitably accelerates gender parity and breaks down any bias. We are proud that Diversity and Inclusion is a core priority of our business and we nurture this with an Executive Sponsor lead and dedicated committee in place across our estate.”
“At ARI, International Women’s Day is a global celebration across our entire estate where we take specific time out to acknowledge the incredibly talented women that work throughout our organisation,” added ARI Global Head of Marketing Laura Toner.
“The ‘She Who’ campaign allows fellow employees the chance to recognise a colleague and friend who makes a difference to them. We have had phenomenal words of recognition for our female colleagues and look forward to sharing these with a wider audience.”
“I am thrilled to celebrate International Women’s Day with such a worthy campaign,” commented ARI General Counsel & Executive Sponsor for Diversity & Inclusion Gareth Byrne. “While this may be our external campaign, it is only a small feature of the initiatives we have created to mark this occasion.
“As ARI’s Diversity and Inclusion Executive Sponsor it is days like these that create important awareness and noise around the significance of being diverse and equal in a business. Inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do, everyone is welcome at ARI.”
The wider global theme of International Women’s Day 2022 is #BreaktheBias. The theme encourages people from all over the world to take action for gender equality and break gender biases in communities, workplaces and places of education.
